Hold Your Breath And Watch The First Hold & Release Bungee Jump [VIDEO]

Usually a bungee jumper is safely secured in a harness, but not this guy. Behold, the first hold and release bungee jump.

The guy in the video, Damian Walters, has an entire YouTube channel devoted to his amazing stunts, but this most recent one takes the cake.

After seeing what happened in the Wisconsin Dells with a bungee cord, I have to admit I'm not very trusting of bungee cords or bungee cord rides at the moment.

I mean, this guy jumped off a platform holding a metal bar attached to a bungee cord and rode it all the way down to the ground.

He also did a flip after he landed on what appears to be an inflatable mattress. You'd think that if you were going to do something like this, you'd use something with a bit more cushion than an inflatable mattress.
