Huge Illinois City is Home to $2.50 Cookie Dough Bites That Will Make You a ‘Happy Camper’
Happy? Sad? Mad? Elated? Depressed? Excited? Whatever you're feeling, you need these cookie dough bites in your life.
I love spending time in the 815 but I also love driving down I-90 and spending some time in other cities. You know I used to get to spend more time in Chicago, but it's been a minute.
Thankfully, that minute ended this weekend when I went to Chicago with my friend Amanda.
Our first stop was a newer bar/restaurant by Wrigley Field.
It's called Happy Camper, and let me tell you it was adorable. It was also packed full of Cubs fans after a Saturday day game.
Despite being packed, we still were able to order pretty quickly and might I recommend taking photos of your drink when you get it because OMG so cute right?
My big recommendation is on the dessert menu though.
I'm not even sure why I flipped to it, but I'm so glad I did. Cookie dough bites for $2.50? Sounds pretty great too me.
Great is an understatement.
The bites were delivered on cute little individual spoons, one to me and one to Amanda and they were incredible.
Eggless cookie dough rolled in Oreos and sprinkles. Perfection.
We had real food too and the burrata was great, but I'll be back for more cookie dough bites... and maybe to try the rest of the dessert menu too.
