WATCH: Illinois Amazon Driver Has Hilarious Battle With Garage Chicken

An Amazon delivery driver in Minooka, Illinois had a bizarre encounter with a savage chicken during one of his delivery stops and it was all caught on video.

According to the homeowner who shared the video on Reddit, the chicken's name is "Fancy" and lives in an Illinois family's garage.  He's a feisty little guy - Fancy tried making his big escape after an Amazon delivery driver dropped off a package.

Now, you would think it'd be easy to just pick up the chicken and place him back inside the garage.  Nah, not that simple for this delivery driver.

Take a look at what happens.  The struggle was REAL for this guy:

The delivery driver tries his hardest to persuade Fancy to stay inside the garage.

You can hear him say, "You're going to have to go back in the garage now," then picks up Fancy and tries to return him to his cage.

You really think a chicken is going to listen? Nope.

Fancy then runs as fast as he can toward the Amazon van and the driver says, "You have to stay in the house, Mr. Chicken Man. You cannot go outside."

Love the respect he put on Mr. Chicken's name!!!

It wasn't until the driver had a brilliant idea: Wait for the garage door to start closing and then quickly place Fancy inside the garage before the door closes completely.

SUCCESS!  The Amazon driver can finally go on about his "normal" day (lol).

Who knew a chicken could be as fearless and friendly as Fancy? What a story that Amazon delivery driver can tell now.. with proof from surveillance footage!
