It's St. Patrick's Day, the day people tend to drink a bit too much. That being said, studies show that Illinois seems to party a bit harder than others.

In a recent poll conducted by the CDC, almost 22% of Illinois residents say they drink between four and five alcoholic beverages in one occasion.

The poll considers binge-drinking for men as five drinks and women four.

Illinois ranks third in the country in binge-drinking. Only North Dakota (23.8%) and Wisconsin (22.5%) top Illinois in binge-drinking percentage.

What states rank the lowest? Tennessee. Only 9.6% of the people polled in the state admitted to binge-drinking.

The home of Mason jar moonshine has the lowest percentage of binge-drinking? Sounds right when you think about it, one shot of moonshine is all you need.
