Illinois Bakery Baking Warm Cookie Boxes to Help Local Charity

There's nothing like a warm chocolate chip cookie straight from the oven, and you're going to feel doubly great about ordering this cookie box.

The world amazes me sometimes.

I know that's a big statement, but it really does. The amount of people who take part in charitable events and fundraisers here in Rockford is really incredible.

Almost every day, I see something pop up on Facebook or Instagram that is in support of another local businesses or charity and it warms my heart.

Do you know what else warms my heart? Cookies.

Cookies straight out the oven to be exact.

So you know I paused when I saw this on my newsfeed.

Did they say warm cookies right out of the oven? And when you order them, half of the money will go straight to Rock House Kids?

This is a fantastic combo.

So here's what you need to do. You have to order the box from Quixotic Bakery which includes those cookies right out of the oven, four of them to be exact.

The box isn't just the cookies though, it also includes a pint of Cedar Crest vanilla ice cream and on top of that, Quixotic is throwing in samples of their hot fudge sauce and salted carmel sauce.

You do need to order these by Wednesday, so hurry!

You'll also need to be prepared to pick the boxes up this Friday from 5-7pm at Quixotic Bakery, which is located inside the Rockford Indoor City Market building.

The box is $25 and Rock House Kids will take home $12.50 for each box.
