While I was looking into why Publican Quality Meats, a place that sounds like more of a butcher shop than a restaurant, would get the nod for Best Sandwich Joint in Illinois according to Lovefood, I found some exciting news: their brunch.

That meal between breakfast and lunch should only be had at Publican Quality Meats.

Coleen K. on Yelp says, "Brunch = Amazing...It was simple, but all incredibly fresh and homemade," and adds, "The house-made sausage was a huge highlight."

As for LoveFood, they say it's all about the sandwiches at Publican Quality Meats, mentioning, "The small but perfectly formed menu draws in customers with an ever-changing line-up of sandwiches. You can't go wrong with the Chicken Parm: juicy fried chicken piled high with tomato sauce, pesto, and mozzarella on a ciabatta roll."

CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS ABOUT PUBLICAN QUALITY MEATS

While the food sounds amazing, some people have issues with Publican Quality Meats, mainly regarding price. J.L. P. on Yelp says the food was "exceptionally expensive and not worth the overall price."
