Two sets of minds approach buffets; some wouldn't be caught dead near one (for many reasons I'll reveal in a second), and those who think they are the best thing ever.

WHY PEOPLE LOVE/HATE BUFFETS

I don't like buffet food. It might have something to do with me being a bit of a germaphobe, but I'm not a fan of shared foods. I know what you're thinking, "That was probably a symptom of COVID." While the pandemic didn't further my disinterest in buffets, it certainly didn't help.

That said, some people go in on buffets, and you know what, I'm for it.

The only thing is, if you're a buffet food fan, you may have been going for seconds at a restaurant that isn't considered the best in Illinois.

They go on to mention "schnitzel, kielbasa, pierogi, potato pancakes, cheese blintzes, sauerkraut, and potato dumplings" as some of the specialties you'll find on display at Red Apple Buffet.
