If you go out to lunch you're looking at doubling that, even if you're just hitting up a drive thru!

But, this Wednesday you can pretend you're living in 1974 instead of 2024 with McDonald's 50 cent double cheeseburgers, according to MSN.
That's a deal. I couldn't tell you the last time I ate a fast food double cheeseburger but I might get one on Wednesday.
Like most deals in 2024, this one is on the company's app, you must download the McDonald's app to get the 50 cent deal, but it sure sounds like that's all you need to do!

According to Thrillest, the McDonald's double cheeseburger cost 50 cents from June of 1971 until February 1973, when it was raised to 55 cents.
But these days a double cheeseburger from the Golden Arches will cost you almost $3.
You can only redeem the offer once, but you and your friends and family can all download the app and create your own accounts.
McDonald's also boasts French fry deals on Fridays so even after this Wednesday there could be a reason to keep the app on your phone.
