Illinois State Police Issue Important Winter Driving Warning

In these very cold days ahead, you need to be very aware of how you're clearing your windshield. If not done properly you'll pay a fine or even worse.

Illinois State Police in DuQuoin issued a warning regarding improper clearing of frost and snow from your windshield. Not only is leaving this 'porthole of death' on your windshield  illegal, it's incredibly dangerous.

If you don't have time to defrost your windows or a scraper, pull out your debit card and scrape with that. If not, and they catch you, keep your debit card handy. You'll need ti to pay your fine.
