Illinois is Home to Two of Hollywood’s ‘Worst’ Stars
It's not like many actors were born and bred in Illinois, but according to this dismal list, two of the worst actors ever are from here.
The truth is, I was more surprised that these not-so-great thespians were from the Land of Lincoln, but after a quick Google search, I got the confirmation I was looking for.
First, you should take this list with a grain of salt because Gwyneth Paltrow is the #1 Worst Actor Ever.
Not only is that complete nonsense, but Paltrow is an Academy Award-winning actor and pretty decent, trophies notwithstanding.
However, I have difficulty disagreeing with the list's choices further down.
Like the 13th worst actor ever, Denise Richards, who, by the way, is from Downers Grove.
Richards' IMDb says she "grew up in the Chicago area until the family relocated to Oceanside, CA when Denise was 15."

In case you are wondering, Richards is not a great actor by any stretch of the imagination.
That said, Richards is an award winner. She took home the top prize for Worst Supporting Actress from the Razzies for her role in 1999's 007 flick The World Is Not Enough.
The other actor on the list from Illinois is ranked 24th, Chris Klein.
Klein's IMDb says he is from Hinsdale, and "after spending the first thirteen years of his life there, he moved with his family to Nebraska."
Whereas Richards took home a Razzie, Klein's career had more promise early on as he won Superstar of Tomorrow at the Young Hollywood Awards in 2001.
