The holiday season is here!

It's been a great fall, full of pumpkins and spooky stuff, but there's a lot of cute Christmas stuff to get ready now. We all have our traditions, decor to put up, parties to plan, and one community event is coming back for another year, ready to help kids chat with Santa.

The special Christmas feature is back to help kids' letters get to Santa on time! Moline is bringing back it's Santa Mail mailbox.

And Santa is ready to start accepting letters.

QCA kids are invited to write a letter to Santa, drop it off in the mailbox, and not only will it get to the North Pole in time for Christmas, Santa will read each letter and respond individually to each kiddo!

Checklist:

Make sure you:

  • Put your return address on the letter
  • Make sure full names and addresses are legible
  • You don't need to include a stamp or a return envelope

Santa's Mail mailbox accepts letters from November 1st-December 2nd. Santa's responses will be mailed out starting December 4th. So it's early festivities, but this isn't one Christmas thing you want to procrastinate if your kid has a letter to get to Santa.

The mailbox is located at Moline Public Works (3635 4th Avenue). It won't be hard to find, it's the red one with tinsel around the base and 'Santa Mail' written on the outside of it. Probably the most festive mailbox you've ever seen.

The mailbox will be checked daily with the exception of holidays and weekends.
