A Man In Wisconsin Turned A Porta Potty Into His Ice Fishing Shanty
Jeremy Barnett lives in Wisconsin. He works in construction for a living. During the winter, with his spare time, he enjoys going ice fishing. That sport has changed quite a bit over the years. Back in the day, the fisherman would just sit outside in the elements. Eventually, they would start using shacks. Now, those little shanties are customized. They have heat, TV, music, fridge, and anything else to keep your life comfortable.

His creation is turning heads on frozen lakes across southern Wisconsin with many people stopping by to check it out and snap a selfie.
Since Jeremy works in construction all year long, he has gotten used to using a porta potty in the winter. That gave him an idea. Why not customize an old porta potty into an ice fishing shanty? That's exactly what he did. It's so cool, people take selfies with it all the time.

He started by cutting off a few inches to make it shorter. That protects it from tipping over in the winter wind. He placed it on old skis, so it's easy to move. Then he insulated it to keep the heat in. Inside, there's a heater, lights, music, TV, and much more. It's like being at home, but you're ice fishing. He calls it The Crappie Shack. He's got big plans for next year. He got himself a handicap porta potty that he's converting into his new ice fishing shack.
