If you've ever wondered what kinds of cars jerky drivers in Illinois typically drive, AI has the answer, (and some pretty funny stereotypes to go along with it).

Jerk Drivers in Illinois

This morning we asked Northern Illinois drivers a very important, (yet very judgmental), question...

Before we go any further let me just say this;

  1. I'm sorry if you drive one of the cars I'm about to list.
  2. It's all meant to be fun, but make sure you act extra nice the next time you get behind the wheel...just in case Lol!

If you look through the comments we received above, you will see several mentions of Teslas, big tricked-out trucks, and sports cars, but to make things a little more entertaining I decided to plug 10 of the cars mentioned into Google Gemini to see what it had to say.

Needless to say, I was not disappointed.

10 Hilarious Illinois Driver Stereotypes According to AI

1. The Tesla - "the driver believes they're saving the planet while simultaneously cutting you off to find the nearest Supercharger."

2.  A Big Lifted Truck - "This lifted monstrosity takes up three parking spaces, gets terrible gas mileage, and the driver probably uses the bed to store... nothing? It's all about intimidation, folks."

3. Corvette - "Shiny, loud, and driven by a man reliving his high school glory days."

4. Lexus - "This is the car that uses blinkers not to signal a lane change, but to express their deep existential dread at having to share the road with, well, you."

5. BMW - "Nothing says "Get out of my way, peasant" like permanently activated high beams."

6. A car with dents all over it. - "This one's a classic. It's like a badge of honor for parallel parking in Chicago with a shopping cart. Bonus points for mismatched hubcaps."

(Honestly, I am confused by this AI description. It would make more sense to me if it said something about how a dented car is just visual proof of a terrible driver).

7. Prius - This is what AI had to say about the bumper stickers you find most Prius drivers put on their vehicle;  "We all appreciate fuel efficiency, but there's a fine line between saving the planet and passive-aggressively reminding everyone of it".

8. Porsche - "Look, Illinois has its fair share of fancy cars, but there's a special kind of jerkiness reserved for the guy in the Porsche who thinks the speed limit is a mere suggestion."

9. A car with a big spoiler on the back. - "This isn't a car, it's a cry for attention. Aerodynamics? Who needs 'em when you've got a wing bigger than a bald eagle's?"

10. Jeep Wrangler - "Picture this: a tiny person perched precariously behind the wheel of a giant Jeep that never leaves the pavement. This driver probably uses the sunroof more than the four-wheel drive."

Did AI hit the nail on the head when describing common behaviors of people driving these 10 cars? I'm going to plead the 5th on that one.
