On Monday morning (January 21), Chris Brown was arrested in Paris after a woman accused him of rape. Though the singer ended up getting released without charges, the investigation is still ongoing. Just hours after his release, Brown took to Instagram to post a video of himself practicing some choreography. His good friend Justin Bieber commented on the post, saying "No one can touch you ur the GOAT," seemingly dismissing the accusations made by Brown's alleged victim. Nick Cannon also publicly showed support for the R&B star, commenting "Stay Focused King."

Brown's accuser, a 24-year-old model, claims that she met Brown through a friend and went to a nightclub with him and friends on the night of January 14. She says that she was then "convinced" to go back to the singer's hotel room. It was there that the alleged crime occurred.

In a since-deleted Instagram post, Brown denied the allegations. “I WANNA MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR...... THIS IS FALSE AND A WHOLE LOT OF CAP! (sic) NNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEERRRRRR!!!!!! FOR MY DAUGHTER AND MY FAMILY THIS IS SO DISPRESPECTFUL AND IS AGAINST MY CHARACTER AND MORALS!!!!!" he wrote

Although no charges have been filed against Brown in this case, he's still dealing with a lawsuit filed against him last May in which "Jane Doe" alleges that she was sexually assaulted during an afterparty at the "Freaky Friday" singer's house in 2017.

She states that she and her friends were forced to perform sexual acts on Brown and his friend Lowell Grissom Jr. The plaintiff also states that Grissom Jr. raped her again that night on two separate occasions. She reportedly went to local California law enforcement to report the incident and a rape treatment center. She is seeking $17 million in damages.
