Things have already started off on a scary note for the West family, but it looks like a hospital stay for Saint West ends on a good note. Earlier today (Jan. 2), news surfaced that Saint, the son of Kim Kardashian-West and Kanye West, was hospitalized with pneumonia on Dec. 28, 2017.

The 2-year-old toddler spent three nights at a Los Angeles hospital before he was released, and now his mother, Kim, is speaking out the matter. The reality star confirms that Saint has recovered swiftly from the health scare, and describes how tough it's been for her family to see.

"My precious baby boy is so strong!" Kim writes in an Instagram post featuring a photo of herself and her son. "After spending three nights in the hospital & seeing my baby get multiple IV’s and hooked up to oxygen machines, our end of year was challenging. Pneumonia is so scary."

The entrepreneur also sends a message of gratitude to the doctors and nurses who worked hard to take care of her son while he was hospitalized. She also confirms that he is home now and doing much better.

"I just want to thank every nurse & doctor out there who works so hard around the clock," she continues. "We are so grateful for you all! He’s home and all better. He’s so resilient I’m sure he will still say the ambulance ride was cool! My strong Saint."

The West family has been through a lot over the past couple of years, with Kim being robbed at gunpoint in Paris, France, and Yeezy being hospitalized after having a public meltdown in 2016. The couple has been working hard on their own ventures in 2017, and are expecting their third child together via surrogate later this month.
