Local Teacher Wins a Trip of a Lifetime With Oprah Winfrey

Now that school's out for the summer, we've put Friday's weekly "Teacher of the Week" segment on hold until school is back in session; however, if we were to award one special teacher this week with cupcakes from Sugarjones and flowers from Broadway florists, it would be Angela Hulsey.

Ms. Hulsey is a kindergarten teacher for RPS 205 and according to WREX, an essay that she wrote for O Magazine has earned her a once in a lifetime opportunity- to set sail with Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King.
