Look At This Massive ‘One-of-a-Kind’ Holiday Light Show In Illinois

Believe it or not, we are just days away from getting into the holiday season.

For me, it's typically the day after Halloween when we start shifting things around and making plans with the fam for events and day trips.

In 2022 we all gathered for a weekend trip to Chicago to check out the Christmas ights at Lincoln Park Zoo followed by dinner at the Oven Grinder and an overnight stay at a hotel in the city.

The next day we made our way over to the Winter Wonderland at Wrigley Field where the fam skated, played games, and just took in the awe of hanging at the Friendly Confines.

Now, that all sounds awesome and truthfully I'd run it back again this season I think we might change it up a bit.

Especially after I found one of the best holiday light shows in America just so happens to be not so far from home.

Country Living listed 35 of the Most Magical Christmas Light Displays Across the US and put a spot in Illinois at #16.

Opening on November 18 and running through January 6 of 2024, Illumination: Tree Lights at Morton Arboretum sounds like a good time.

There's a reason this light show is award winning! Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois, puts on a one-of-a-kind light show through a whopping 50 acres, and it'll delight kids as much as adults. Music and projections are just as much a part of the show as the lights themselves.
