Thanksgiving may still be over a week away, but I am chomping at the bit to get the Christmas season started! (Sorry Thanksgiving lovers, I can't help it!)

When it comes to the best things in life, here are my top three:

  1. Hearing my children laugh
  2. Puppy breath/snuggles
  3. Christmas lights

The joy I feel from those three things, especially looking at Christmas lights, might be a bit extreme, but I don't care, it's what makes me the happiest.

One of my favorite holiday traditions is loading my family into our van and driving around looking at Christmas lights, and we do this several times each year. Since we recently moved, I'm even more pumped for this tradition because we will have a whole bunch of new displays to check out.

The Christmas Lights Display Your Family Has to See This Holiday Season

Knowing about my obsession with Christmas lights, a friend of mine that lives near Schaumburg, Illinois recently told me I HAVE to check out the Let It Shine Lightshow this year. All it took was one look at their Facebook to have me completely hooked.

Over 1 million Christmas lights synchronized to music? Yes, please!

After doing more research I learned that Schaumburg isn't the only place you can see The Let It Shine Lightshow, they also set up a show in Northbrook, Illinois, but let's zero in on the specifics of the Schaumburg location now.

Everything You Need to Know About the Let It Shine Lightshow

Let It Shine will open for your viewing enjoyment this Friday, November 18, 2022, and will run nightly from 6 to 10 p.m. through January 1,  2023, at Wintrust Field in Schaumburg, Illinois. Only one entrance ticket is needed per vehicle, but you HAVE to purchase them online in advance. Admission is $32.99 per vehicle on weeknights and $42.99 on weekends, holidays, and special holidays.  I guarantee these tickets will sell FAST, so you better buy them now while you still can!
