This Meijer in Rockford Might Be a Squishy Lover’s Dream
If you or the kids are currently obsessed with squishies, you might want to make a trip to Meijer in Rockford.
Nope, I'm not gatekeeping this one!
I was scrolling TikTok at work (work-related scrolling, yes...) when I came across a video of a little girl in Rockford showing off all the squishy toys she found at Meijer in Rockford. Meijer is totally slept on, just sayin'.

This Meijer in Rockford Might Be a Squishy Lover’s Dream
The amount of squishies she found was insane, they were fully stocked with everything you could dream of! Two whole aisles were filled with:
- Giant carrots
- Giant peppers
- Giant strawberries
- Giant cheese
- Chicken
- Surprise dumplings
- Water squishies
Oh, they even had the giant peaches, pickles, and pineapples, too!

Any of the toys your kids have been asking for are probably at Meijer.
And if you're someone who likes to hunt for these viral toys, when you go hunting actually matters. From my own experience, I've found that going at these times will give you the best chance of scoring big.
Best times to go squishy hunting in Rockford
- During the day while kids are at school (less crowded)
- Right when the store opens in the morning (be first in line)
- Later at night when the store is restocking (catch new stuff being put out!)
So, if you've been trying to find squishy... anything... in Rockford, this might be worth a stop the next time you're squishy hunting. If you're looking for Sticker Therapy blind bags, Walmart has them in Rockford for $2.97 - I got the rare one right on the third try!
I've also seen HobbyTown, Walmart, Target, Woodmans, and Menards are other spots to squishy hunt. I'm gonna try Menards this weekend and let ya know what I find!
