MUST SEE: You Gotta Take A Look Inside This Abandoned Wisconsin Mall
I freakin' love watching people risk their lives to explore inside abandoned buildings, clearly because I'm too much of a chicken to go do it myself.
After watching this video of an abandoned mall in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I had to show you guys the inside. I always had an image of what I'd expect the inside to look like after years of being closed, but this is not what I was picturing!
Northridge Mall - Opened August 14, 1972
This mall closed in 2003 after the crime rate in the area skyrocketed and deterred many customers from shopping there, plus the recession in 2001 drove out majority of tenants inside forcing them to end their leases.
INSIDE LOOK
The common area of the mall sits with a blue/gold elevator that is still standing. Security attempted to keep trespassers out for a while, but that didn't last long.
Graffiti can be spotted all over the walls throughout the mall. Surprisingly enough, the ceiling lights look amazing still!
I wonder if the escalators still work

Don't plan on watching any movies here anytime soon. One of the empty movie theaters had all the seats removed, but the structure of the movie screen is still in tact.
Woah, these are mall kiosks that were spread out around the shopping center.
There was even a refreshments stand for all the 'hangry' mall goers.
Need same day photos printed? This Walgreens inside the mall won't be able to help.
If I can make out the words, this was a fine jewelry department.
After many different businesses occupied the location since 2003, it has been used as a place for airsoft events until the City of Milwaukee planned for demolition in 2019 due to being an unsafe environment.
Some other views outside of the Northridge Mall.
