OUCH! Wisconsin City Named One of the Rudest in the Nation
Ah, Wisconsin - the state known for cheese, beer, and apparently, bad manners?
I just dropped my cheese curds in shock. Just kidding, I'm not surprised a Wisconsin city made the list of rudest cities in the nation.
Despite a Milwaukee burglar being called "polite" because he was courteous enough to take off his shoes, lock up the house, and close the garage door, Milwaukee isn't lookin' so pretty on the politeness list.
Wisconsin City Named One of the Rudest in the Nation
Even though New York City ranked as #1 rudest city followed by Los Angeles, we can travel a little further down the list and find Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Coming in at #49, Milwaukee made it. Out of all Wisconsin's cities, this is the city with the least friendly people? Interesting. 1.5% of respondents thought Milwaukee had the rudest inhabitants.

Sure, the bigger the city, the more opportunity to encounter rude people.
According to Business Insider and SurveyMonkey,
"The rankings are based on two online polls conducted in October and November 2019 — American adults were asked to choose the five rudest cities from a list of the 50 largest metro areas in the country."

Luckily, Illinois didn't rank at all.
HALLELUJAH - I'm just biased because I live in Illinois lol.
It could be the harsh winters, gas prices, mosquitoes in the summer, or bad drivers that put Milwaukee residents in a bad mood more often than not, but at least Wisconsin ranked significantly low on the list!
