One Of The Best NBA Players Ever Is Opening Illinois Restaurant
One of the greatest basketball players of all time is opening up a restaurant in Illinois.
Sorry Fans It Is Not Michael
Personally, it is difficult to talk about one of the greatest basketball players of all time in a story that takes place in Illinois, specifically in the Chicago area, and it does not include Michael Jordan. I am a lifelong Bulls fan and MJ is the best ever. In this case, Mike is not involved.
Shaq Is A Great Player Too
Since I am a huge Chicago Bulls fan, I did not care for Shaquille O'Neal back in his playing days. Do not get me wrong, I really do appreciate what he did in the league. Now, if you are talking about his post hoops career, I enjoy what Shaq has done. He is a super funny and entertaining guy. Like Jordan, he has done really well for himself in retirement.
Shaquille O'Neal Is Opening A Chicken Restaurant In Illinois
Shaq's fried chicken sandwich restaurant chain named "Big Chicken" is coming to Rosemont later this year. The location will be at 9421 W Higgins Road. He currently has locations in Vegas and Glendale, California. O'Neal also owns a few "Big Chicken" ghost kitchens across the United States. Plus, his food is also served in some arenas and cruise ships.
"In addition to being an NBA commentator, a Papa John's spokesperson and an EDM DJ (perhaps you've heard of Diesel?), former NBA player Shaquille O'Neal also co-owns a fried chicken sandwich restaurant called Big Chicken—and the chain's first midwest location will soon be located just outside of Chicago."
"According to renderings, the 2,610-square-foot Big Chicken restaurant will share a building with Stan's Donuts and is scheduled to open in fall 2022."
"The Rosemont Big Chicken will be the chain's third full-service restaurant, serving fried chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, salads, shakes, and sides."
Big Chicken Reality Show Featuring Shaquille O'Neal
By the way, when Shaq opened his first location in Vegas, they filmed a reality show to go along with it. You can check it out on "Facebook Watch."
