A new list highlighted a place that's worth the trip regardless of how close or far you need to drive.

The list, on OnlyInYourState said that the White Pines Inn in Mount Morris is one of the best places "Way Out In The Boonies But So Worth The Drive."

OnlyInYourState says about the White Pines Inn, "Nestled in White Pines Forest State Park, way off the beaten path, you'll want to visit this log cabin-style restaurant often." I couldn't agree more.

Take away White Pines Forest State Park and the White Pines Inn is good enough by itself to warrant the drive to Mount Morris.

Factor in the gorgeous views of White Pines Forest State Park along with the log cabin feel of the White Pines Inn and you have a near perfect experience.

I didn't even mention the food. The buffet is one of the best of it's kind in the area.

I was last at the White Pines Inn for their brunch buffet after picking up our Christmas tree last December and it made for an excellent day with the family.

Whether you take a trip in the summer, spring, fall or winter, you can't go wrong spending the day at White Pines and the White Pines Inn.
