Ariana Grande savagely dragged Pete Davidson on Twitter after a Saturday Night Live promo showed Davidson asking musical guest Maggie Rogers if she wants to get married. Rogers  replied "no," prompting Davidson to say "0 for 3."

Now, you might be wondering why Davidson said "0 for 3" instead of "0 for 2," since he's only been publicly engaged once. Turns out, there's some truth to his self-deprecating joke. Sources told TMZ that the first woman he proposed to was actually his longtime girlfriend Cazzie David, Larry David's daughter.

The pair dated for two years, with David regularly sharing cute pictures of them together throughout their relationship. But within weeks of their breakup, Davidson was engaged to Grande. Instead of directly shading Davidson, she opted to show the world that she's actually living her best life, sharing a pic on Instagram of her on safari captioned "Been in Africa, what'd I miss???"

Despite playing it cool, she scrubbed all traces of Davidson off her Instagram, with the exception of a Vanity Fair Oscar party photo booth picture. But really, who can blame her? Seeing your ex boyfriend get engaged to a pop star right after a breakup is intense. But David gets the last laugh now that Davidson is single once more after trying to rush into a marriage with Grande--and failing miserably.
