You buy seven bags of candy but only used 4. Your kids came home with a pillow case of candy but you don't want them to eat it all. You could set the candy out and nibble away at it for the next few months or you could do something to support our troops and get your kids involved as well!

"Sweets4Troops" was a program that started in 2014 by Michael Embrey, that sends extra and unwanted candy to military personnel all around the world.

If you would like to donate any extra or unwanted candy to them, there are a few locations where you can drop it off.

* DeKalb Fire Department, 7th Street (700 Pine Street) in DeKalb
* Sycamore Fire Department, 535 DeKalb Avenue in Sycamore
* Daily Chronicle Newspaper, 1586 Barber Green Road in DeKalb
* Le Print Express, 1950 DeKalb Avenue in Sycamore
* County Liquors, 625 E State St in Sycamore
* Papa Johns Pizza 203 W Lincoln Hwy. in DeKalb

You can drop off candy between November 1st and November 18th.
