The Road Sign That Drives Illinois Drivers Crazy
Illinois is a state full of potholes, high taxes, and endless construction. Am I wrong?
When I drive around Rockford, I'm either dodging potholes or trying to reroute my GPS to get me to my destination as fast as possible with all the road construction happening.
To be honest, it feels like construction never ends in this city. It's not a bad thing, but at the same time it's kind of inconvenient majority of the time.
The Road Sign We Can't Stand Seeing The Most In Illinois
You can't tell me this isnt the most annoying sign to see while you're driving.
The "Road Work Ahead" sign means 3 things:
#1: Tons of detours
#2: Traffic will be backed up
#3: Half the drivers don't know how to follow detour signs through neighborhoods
Because winter is near, maybe there won't be as many Road Work Ahead signs while snow is in play, but when summer hits... you know they'll pop back up like all the potholes coming out of hibernation.
On the brighter side, at least roads are, somewhat, getting fixes! Right?
Now, my favorite sign is this one: YIELD.

It's giving you the option to go... slow down... or stop. Depending on what kind of driver you are, you have to be one of those three. If you stop, I can't stand you.
What's YOUR favorite, or least favorite, road sign around town?
