Just when you thought you've seen everything, something new pops up out of nowhere to grab your attention.

That's what happened on Saturday, when I was driving through Byron and I happened to catch what looked like an AT-AT Walker from the Star Wars movies.

It must've been the force, because I couldn't believe what I just saw.

I turned around and mentioned it to my oldest son who replied with "Yeah, it's been there for a few weeks now."

I'm usually a pretty observant guy, and I was shocked I missed this incredible looking "tree house" thing just sitting in the middle of someone's backyard in Byron.

If you don't know what the AT-AT Walkers look like:

I think they both look real similar. As far as who put it up, why, or how long it took the man, woman, or family to construct such a monstrosity, I have no clue.

That said, can pass some legislation making it mandatory to construct monuments to Star Wars greatness around Illinois? That's something even Darth Vader would appreciate.
