Rockford's B Jones Promotes Closet Decluttering For Breast Cancer Support

Is it time to clean out your closet but you just don't have the motivation? Rockford boutique, B Jones is making it a little easier this fall.

Let's face it, no one really wants to clean out their closet. Ok, maybe you love doing it, but for the most part it's much more work than it seems, and after you do the cleaning, then you have to figure out what you want to do with those items you don't need anymore.

It's ALWAYS on my to-do list, but it's never on my done list.

However, I was scrolling through social media last night and came across a post that has me feeling much more motivated to spend some time sifting through my hangers and drawers.

B Jones in Rockford is hosting a 'Clean Out Your Closet for a Cause,' event this fall, encouraging all of us to clean out our closets and dressers and donate our items to the boutique.

On their post, B Jones shared that their customer, Heather Stoeckicht is behind the initiative to support those battling breast cancer.

Here's what you can do.

Clean out your closets and drawers
Drop-off your gently used clothing, shoes, jewelry and accessories at B Jones at the Edgebrook Center Fridays from 4-6pm and Saturdays from 11am-1pm during September
Shop 'The Cause' sale October 18 and 19 from 10am-4pm

The proceeds from 'The Cause' sale will benefit 'Breast Cancer Support-Sharsheret,' which is an organization their customer Heather said was a great support when she was going through her breast cancer journey.
