Rockford's Craft Crawl is making its way downtown this weekend!

If there's one thing about me, it's that I love anything crafty.  Thrifting?  Obsessed.  DIY projects?  Sign me up.  Wandering through cute little shops looking for inspiration?  Yes, yes, yes.  It's basically my personality.

This weekend is going to be poppin' because it's going to be a full day dedicated to creativity, local businesses, and all sorts of hands-on projects at some of the coolest spots in downtown Rockford.  There are more than 10 businesses participating in the event, and I already know where I'm stopping first: The Scrap Jar and Cahoots!

The Scrap Jar is my favorite arts and crafts thrift store in downtown Rockford and Cahoots just opened near my house, so the perfect to explore during their grand opening.  There are plenty of other businesses joining in on the fun, too.

Each location will have plenty of crafts to enjoy along the route!

This is exactly the kind of event Rockford needs more of.  It feels creative, community-focused, and just genuinely fun.  Whether you're super artistic or just love making cute stuff with friends, this sounds like such a good excuse to get out of the house and do something different.

Plus, crafting is a great way to bond with others!  Find the event page here if you're interested in getting crafty with fellow crafters.
