Rockford’s Iconic Sign Has a New Home — Did You Know?
With a few minutes of digging around on Facebook, I figured out the sign is now at the remodeled library, right on the riverfront. It looks stunning reflecting off the river!
Honestly, everyone on Facebook has nothing but great things about the move.

Sure, it was fine over at Davis Park, but there wasn't really anything to do over there unless special events were happening. So, the move seemed like one of the better decisions the city has made over the last few years!
What truly blows my mind is that I just found out about it. I had no idea the Rockford sign just up and left its original spot. It's like people not knowing the Symbol wasn't always at Sinnissippi Park! Did you know that?!
If you're like me and missed the memo, the Rockford sign is no longer at Davis Park. It's at the new library. An upgrade we definitely needed!
