Rockford’s Stage Is Set for a Weekend Full of Local Talent

Rockford is bursting with tons of events for families this summer, there's another one you don't want to miss this week.

If you're trying to fill your calendar with family-friendly activities—you're in luck.  From Friday Night Flix, to Rockford City Market, to Food Truck Tuesdays, DInner on the Dock, and tons of concerts at the Sinnissippi Music Shell, there's not a weekend that goes by you can't enjoy something fun!

At the end of June, there's a Lemonade Hop in downtown Rockford, so tons of businesses will have their own lemonade concoctions for you to try!  Mocktails, slushies, and a fun spin on a classic lemonade at your favorite local bars.

This week, there's a talent show you might want to clear your schedule for.

Rockford's Stage Is Set for a Weekend Full of Local Talent

On Thursday, June 19th, Live @ Levings is hosting a Rockford Talent Show at Sinnissippi Park!  From 5 to 6pm, this is a totally free event to attend with activities for all your kiddos.

As part of their Juneteenth celebration, there will be comedians, DJs, and a local talent show open to all-ages from singers, rappers, poets, dancers, and talents from all walks of life!

First place wins $1,000, and the three runner-ups take home $500, $300, and $200.
