$90,000, 30 Minutes, & One Rockford Store – Where Are You Shopping?

A woman in Rockford recently won $90,000 at the Hard Rock Casino in Rockford when she entered a drawing, hit the Jackpot and turned over the Queen of Hearts.

First off, the chances are SOOOOO LOW of picking the jackpot!

Second, WHY WOULDN'T THAT BE ME?  WHY?

The universe was with her that day.  Congratulations to her, but it got me thinking... if I won $90,000 and I was forced to spend it at one store in Rockford in just 30 minutes, where would I go?

Now, most people would say Best Buy for electronics or Woodman's and Walmart to stock up on groceries.  Me?  Mine's a bit different.

I could easily spend $90,000 in thirty minutes at either PetSmart, Joann Fabric's, or any thrift store; Goodwill, Salvation Army, Carpenter's Corner.

At PetSmart, I'd buy an insane amount of cat towers, stock up on my cats' food, treats, toys, and get them the best water bowls and feeders.  My babies always come first!

At Joann Fabric's, I'd buy all the fleece, beads, stretchy cord, and crafting tools so I would never run out of crafts to do.  I mean, at that point I could probably buy out majority of the store.

At any thrift store, money goes a long way!  Even though prices have risen, I still find the best deals.  Ninety grand would furnish my apartment, my closet, and everyone else who lives in my apartment building.
