If you've been waiting to ride rollercoaster at Six Flags in Illinois but dread the long lines, I have a hack that might just change your life.

When I was a kid, I used to be obsessed with rollercoasters.  I loved Mt. Olympus in Wisconsin Dells and Six Flags in Gurnee!  Something about that feeling of butterflies in my stomach always gave me an adrenaline rush like no other.

As I got older, I realized rollercoasters might not be for me after I got whiplash from a ride.  It left me with the worst migraine of my life, and since then I've never gotten on another ride.  But I'll gladly hold your phone, your purses, and all your belongings while you wait in the long, long lines, though!  I have no problem being that friend.

The hack: go on the HOTTEST days of the summer.

I know, insane idea.  Think about it: Most people wouldn't be willing to wait in a line, while it's 95-degrees, knowing the ride lasts less than a minute.  That's why if you go on the hottest days, the lines won't be long!  It might be hot, you might be sweating, and complaining here and there, but at least the wait time is little to none.

Just make sure to stay hydrated and know your limits!
