When Kryptonite closed last summer I wondered how long it would be before someone would move in.

I guess the answer was "sooner rather than later."

A photo shared on Facebook from the formerly open now closed Kryptonite showed the outside of the bar with a banner hanging above the windows saying:

"Coming Soon! Capital House"

Speculation in the comments section range from "another bar" to "another coffee shop."

A quick Google search revealed a couple of different ideas on what Capital House might actually be.

First, there's the Captial Ale House, which doesn't make a lot of sense since the Ale is missing from the title and it's also located in Virginia. So, "no" on that one.

Then there's Capital House Chinese Kitchen in Albany, New York. The logo looks very different from the one hanging from the banner outside the old Kryptonite. I'm going to go with a "no" on that one as well.

Outside of a possible restaurant, the only thing Capital House gave me on Google is a nursing home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Something tells me that's probably not happening inside the old Kryptonite.

In order to find out a little bit more, a message has been left with a representative of the Fridh Corporation regarding the open space.

They have yet to respond.
