Spend the Night at an Enchanted Tree House Not Far From Rockford
If you're looking for something different from the same old same old, how about spending the night in a treehouse?
Located in Schaumburg, about an hour from Rockford, there's a treehouse for rent that isn't exactly what you think.
If you remember the treehouse of your childhood, forget it, because this place is far from typical.
Eco-friendly treehouse has Pella windows, fireplace, A/C, full size bed and twin sleeping loft, private deck, kitchenette with sink, microwave, fridge, coffeemaker, WIFI, high def cable TV with HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, etc., and new smart wifi TV for Netflix, etc., with new blue ray DVD, fireman's pole, private outdoor RV-type toilet. New Keurig coffeemaker with gourmet coffees, tea, hot cocoa, and hot cider. We have a new euro feather bed comforter to keep you warm on chilly nights!
The rental is rated at 4.93 out of 5 and visitors say they "highly recommend" and it's a "great experience."
I think Airbnb user Shana may have summed up the stay at this treehouse perfectly:
This is our third family visit. It is magical. Our son is now almost nine, and he is as enchanted as he was several years ago. You step out of normal life into a fairy tale for a night. Highly recommend. Just perfect.
This really is the perfect staycation while we continue to wade in a COVID world.
However, you're going to want to bring your pocketbook, because a night's stay in a place this magical isn't cheap. The going rate for one night at the treehouse is $249.
