Stroll On State Is Looking for This Year’s Perfect Tree

Rockford's 2019 Stroll On State celebration is now just over 60 days away, and preparations are already underway.

Decorations are being spruced up and constructed, volunteers are getting signed up, and now is the time to find the perfect centerpiece for the festival; Downtown Rockford's Christmas tree.

If you have a beautiful and massive evergreen in your yard that you are willing to donate for use as the Stroll On State tree, please snap some pics and email them to Heidi Gee at hgee@gorockford.com.

Along with pictures of the tree, you need to include your street address,  phone number, the type of tree it is and the approximate size of it. Please know that for your tree to be chosen, it needs to be easily accessible by the crews that will be coming to do the chopping and transportation.

If you don't have a tree to donate, but would still like to get involved with this year's Stroll On State, plenty of volunteers are needed, and they are still looking for performers as well. See a list of the many ways you get involved with the Stroll On State fun now, at strollonstate.com.
