The 2021 dates have been announced for Summerfest in Milwaukee.

COVID-19 put a stop to pretty much all of my favorite fun summer activities. One festival I hit every year is Summerfest in Milwaukee. I attend at least one day if not multiple. Each visit is a great combination of amazing live music and tasty food. Some years I go for a specific band. Others I just head up to wander and enjoy the atmosphere.

This year was going to be no different until the pandemic. At one point, the organizers were going to postpone it until fall, Unfortunately, a complete cancelation was the final decision. Many of the artists who were scheduled for 2020 will be part of 2021. Today, the festival announced it's dates for next year along with some changes.

According to summerfest.com,

"Summerfest 2021 will take place over three consecutive weekends (Thursday-Saturday), June 24-26, July 1-3, and July 8-10, 2021.  So, we couldn't be more excited to be able to bring more weekends and more headliners to the already blockbuster Summerfest lineup. But don't worry, we're not changing everything with the Summerfest experience you’ve grown to love – diverse lineup, food from local vendors, activities, 12 stages of music, all at a world-class lakeside festival setting:"

I love the new set-up of all weekends. It seemed like every year, the music I wanted to see was during the week. That meant either missing the action or a lack of sleep the next day for work.

Something to look forward to in the future.
