The governor is requiring everyone Illinoisan above the age of 2 to wear a face-covering in public, for all indoor spaces where social distancing is not possible.
Some state parks, recreation areas, and fish and wildlife areas will reopen in Illinois on May 1st under a modified stay-at-home order announced by Governor JB Pritzker Thursday.
Governor JB Pritzker says he's been searching everywhere for gowns, gloves and masks to protect medical workers and first-responders in Illinois from COVID-19.
The governor says that we may be "bending the curve" here in Illinois, but the cancellations and postponements may be here though the warm weather months.
The order began at 5 p.m. Saturday and will go until April 7. Like other states, the order will mean residents can still go to the grocery stores, put gas in their cars, take walks outside and make pharmacy runs.
