Scam

This is an old scam with a new twist. Sigh.

Take a deep breath if you get a text or call like this.

A good part of the state was hit with some pretty severe weather on Wednesday (June 12th).

Nothing switches your mind to 'panic mode' like an ALERT text from your credit card company that there may have been some fraudulent charges. The message made me feel safe and protected but that was con all along.

As if renewing a passport wasn't stressful enough.

This scam involves a fake email from the SSA.

I've seen so many of my friends fall for this. Here's what to avoid, and what to do if it's already happened to you.
