Taylor Phelan, My Pick For This Season Of ‘The Voice’ [VIDEO]

'The Voice' premiered this week with a bunch of great singers but one of them got the attention of the entire audience and all four coaches, Taylor Phelan.

I might be a little biased. I've never met Taylor, but his wife used to do my eyeliner in the bathroom in junior high.

Last week I saw one of my Facebook friends, Taylor's wife Nikki, write about how she was so excited to announce her husband had auditioned for "The Voice." How cool, I thought, I'll have to remember to watch the auditions to see if they show him.

Well, they showed him, a lot.

Taylor was one of the biggest stories from last night's episode. They saved him for the end of the first hour of the show, which you know means he is a big deal.

He auditioned with the song "Sweater Weather," and had Adam Levine turning around in less than 17 seconds. Then Blake, then Pharrell and Gwen pretty much simultaneously.

The video of his performance has only been up on YouTube for a day or so and over 75,000 people have watched it, with lots of fans showing support in the comments section.

I thought it was pretty fantastic and Taylor has my vote.

'The Voice' likes to be kinda sneaky, duh they want you to watch, but in case you missed it, I will let you know that Taylor choose Pharrell!

I think most of us watching were thinking he would choose Adam, but he chose the hat-wearing newbie as his coach.
