Taz Float Stuck Under L Tracks Before Chicago Thanksgiving Parade
The Thanksgiving Day Parade in Chicago has been a turkey day tradition for as long as I can remember.
However, I don't remember something like this happening.
I mean, something very similar happened in Rockford last year during Stroll On State.
While it seems we avoided the catastrophe for the second consecutive year, it seems this year's unfortunate honor goes to Chicago.
When lining up for the Thanksgiving Day Parade route, the group bringing the popular cartoon character Taz managed to get it stuck under the L tracks.
The crew managed to work the Taz float under the tracks but sadly, it looked like a mangled version of its former self.
