Teacher of the Week: Mrs. Davis from Rockford’s Haskell Elementary

This is just her second year at Haskell and she's turning her first graders into little learning lovers.

Congratulations to Jasmine Davis from Haskell Elementary School on being 97ZOK's newest Teach Of The Week. Mrs. Davis was on the receiving end of a beautiful bouquet from Broadway Florist, a huge bundt cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes and a $50 gift certificate from Oriental Trading Company to use on things for her classroom.

Mrs. Davis was nominated by one of her students, Stanley Voyles and his mom Janel, they wrote:

Mrs. Davis is the kindest, most caring teacher. My son went from hating school and coming home crying to being excited about school and wanting to learn more on his own. She even worked out a seating chart around how the kids learn in her class. My son sits right next to her and she says she loves how it helps him focus on his work and her focus on the rest of the class. I feel like she goes above and beyond to make sure her whole class gets the best experience and cannot thank her enough!
