The team at Roadsnacks put out a list featuring the 100 most redneck cities in Illinois.

Thankfully, only one Rockford area city ranks in the top 10 but when you look a bit further you'll notice a few that just missed the cut off.

Here's the criteria Roadsnacks used to figure out the most redneck cities in Illinois:

Small towns defined, graduation rate, and whether they live in the south or Midwest were used to decide a city's redneck scale.

Roadsnacks also checked a few stereotypical categories such as, dive bars, mobile homes, tobacco stores, guns and ammo stores, including the number of Walmarts, Golden Corrals, Bass Pro Shops and Dollar Generals in the city.

Vandalia was ranked as the #1 most redneck city in Illinois.
