The Best Escape Room in Illinois Might Be Full of Devilish Mascots
Are you in for a creepy pizza party with a few mysteries to solve? Then you might want to book an hour at the new escape room at Woodfield Mall.
When I was a kid, I basically lived at Woodfield Mall. I grew up seven minutes away and well, there wasn't all that much to do in the 90s except walk around the mall and pretend like you're going to buy things for three hours until your mom picks you up.
These days, there's a lot more for kids and teens to do, including even more at the mall!

Over the holiday season last year, I realized my oldest nephews also liked escape rooms, so we went to our first together in January,.

If you remember where the McDonald's was near center court (I know, I can't believe it's gone either!), it's two doors down, one away from the Cinnabon.
This escape room is called '60 to Escape,' and it's filled with a handful of different rooms that you can try with your friends and family.

It is a little scary at Cheesie's, but aside from a few jump scares and Cheesie making his first appearance, we were ok. I wouldn't recommend taking any kids under 12 to this one.
There are additional rooms you can escape from at the Schaumburg location, and there are also two other locations, Gurnee and Milwaukee.
Have you tried to escape from any of these rooms?
