An excuse to wear jeans to work on a Wednesday plus you get to support a great cause? Perfection.

Wednesday, April 24, the City of Rockford wants you to head to work in jeans, or anything denim, to support for survivors of sexual assault

The reason behind wearing denim to support these survivors is incredible, like the bad kind of incredible... according to the City of Rockford Government Facebook post, 'The Denim Day campaign was originally triggered by a ruling by the Italian Supreme Court where a rape conviction was overturned because the justices felt that since the victim was wearing tight jeans she must have helped her rapist remove her jeans, thereby implying consent.'

You can participate by simply wearing denim on Wednesday and you can share the info on social media by visiting this site.
