The Seven Best Girl Scout Cookies
Which Girl Scout cookies are the best?
Girl Scout cookies went on sale this past week and since I've already gone through a box or two, I figure I should tell you what I think are the 10 best.
I'm not a cookie expert but I do know what tastes good.
Here's my 10.
- Thin Mints. Does it really matter if they are frozen or just sitting in a cupboard? Not all. They might be the best cookie ever.
- Tag-A-Longs. I could eat peanut butter straight out of the jar. I could do the same with chocolate. Combine them together and you have a cookie that falls just short of the glorious Thin Mint.
- Samoas. I remember as a kid not caring for this. I guess it has something to do with growing into an adult...and finally enjoying coconut.
- Rah-Rah Raisins. A new contender has emerged this year! Brand new for 2015, Rah-Rah Raisins are pretty good with milk.
- Trefoils. A nice shortbread cookie. Sure it's plain with no chocolate, peanut butter or coconut for miles, but they still work.
- Do-Si-Dos. A peanut butter cookie. I'm good with peanut butter cookie, just needs chocolate.
- Savannah Smiles. This is an altogether different cookie from what the Girl Scout cookies. My only beef with Savannah Smiles is the powdered sugar that sticks on your fingers. I don't like to eat cookies that leave a mess afterward.
