The Top 5 Money Making Disney Franchises

With the success of Disney's latest movie, "Frozen," you may expect it to be the most lucrative Disney franchise, but don't count out the mouse himself just yet.

"Frozen" is the biggest selling digital Disney release including Blu-ray (duh, kinda, right?) but the Frozen franchise is still sitting behind some other big names.

Disney's Top 5 Lucrative Franchises:

1. It's a tie for first between Mickey Mouse and the Disney Princesses. But c'mon, he's pretty much holding on to that spot solo and they are a HUGE group, so he really is still #1. Both franchises bring in $4 billion per year.

3. Another tie for 3rd, this time it's "Cars" and Winnie the Pooh with $2 billion each.

5. "Toy Story" rounds out the list with $1 billion
