The US National Snow Sculpting Championship is Like 45 Minutes from Rockford and Totally Worth the Trip
This event looks 'snow' fun!
So here's the deal, it's gonna snow this week. Probably an inch or so tonight, and I'm not prepared for it.
I don't want to clean off my car, I don't want to wear snow boots and I don't want to deal with people who forget how to drive when the white flakes fall.
But, when January rolls around, I'm a-ok with snow and totally excited that the United States National Snow Sculpting Championship is less than an hour from Rockford.
The snow party is in Lake Geneva and is part of the Lake Geneva Winterfest, a nine day festival celebrate all things winter.
The snow sculpting competition runs from January 30 through February 2 and you can get more details on the event Facebook page.
