This Guy Grew An Ear In His Arm [VIDEO]

This guy grew an extra ear in his arm. An ear.

One of my favorite books growing up was Wayside School is Falling Down. The book is filled with short stories about a bunch of elementary school children and in one of the stories, one of the teachers has an extra ear on the top of her head that she used to hear everyone's inner thoughts.

Being the nosy Michelle I am, I thought that was awesome. But obviously kind of strange.

One guy is sort of making that a reality.

He's not listening to your thoughts, but, he does have a third ear... growing on his left arm.

Slightly gross but incredibly interesting, Stelarc, the man with the ear on his arm, is doing this as an art project demonstrating just how plugged in we are as a society.

He eventually would like to stream the audio that the ear is hearing online so we can all get a deeper look into society.
