Here's a hint, it's relatively new and people from all over the country travel to see it.

MSN recently put together a list of the most iconic landmark in every state.

In their post, they called Chicago's "The Bean" as the most iconic.

MSN says, "the official name of the sculpture that sits in Chicago's Millennium Park is the Cloud Gate. The 110-ton sculpture was created by artist Anish Kapoor, and attracts tourists and locals alike."

I've seen "the bean" or Cloud Gate or whatever you want to call it. Was it worth the trip? Not really. It's surprised me that a conversation about incredible landmarks in Illinois, something fairly new to the city is considered iconic.

"The Bean" is fine. That's about it.

Really, the best part of a trip to see "The Bean" is to get a picture in front of it.

I took my own selfie in front of "The Bean." I failed...miserably. If self-facing cameras weren't a thing, I'm not sure it would be as popular a destination for tourists.
